McVicker writes to Eleanor Roosevelt on the basis of the latter's 1959 column "My Day" in the N.Y. Post concerning Anna Louise Strong. McVicker defends Strong as a conscientious reporter of revolutions. In a response, Roosevelt says that it is unclear how Strong got into China and that the whole situation is not a simple one.
